Hazel Heights P-Patch Fundraiser

in Fremont:

4001 Leary Way NW,

6 to 8 p.m.


Emerald City nursery (formerly Fremont Gardens), 4001 Leary, will graciously host a fundraiser benefitting the P-Patch on July 11th. 25% of the proceeds will be docated to the P-Patch. So if you have any gardening needs for the summer come join us and pick up some of the beautiful items for sale at the garden shop. (We are really close to meeting our budget so anything goes a long way)

Night OUT!

The City of Seattle's "Night Out" is Tuesday, August 5.

Join us on the 4200 block of Baker and we will have our annual party in front of the P-Patch site. Meet the neighbors and get a taste of the local cuisine at the potluck.

Red Door Fundraiser
Saturday January 12th, 2008
2 p.m. to 5

The event was very successful and a whole lot of fun! Funds were raised from donated items sold with the silent auction and a portion of the proceeds from beverage sale from the Red Door. Thanks to Pete and the Red Door for hosting and all of those who attended and donated to the P-Patch..

Fremont Gardens Benefit
Winter, 2006

Fremont Gardens, a delightful gardening store located on Leary Way in Fremont, was gracious enough to host a benefit for the Hazel Heights P-Patch. A portion of the sales were donated to the P-Patch. We all had a wonderful time. Here are some photos





































































Billings Middle School
Fall/Winter 2006

Students from Billings Middle School participated in several work sessions at the P-Patch. Led by their teacher Peter Titcolm, the students helped maintain the site and learn about biology and community in the process. Thanks for all of your help!!


























































Design Meetings
Spring/Summer 2007

Working with Barker Landscape Architects, community members refined design ideas for the site so that we could proceed to permit drawings.

















Work Parties
Spring 2006 - Ongoing

We have hosted several work parties give participants a chance to really get thier hands dirty. The gatherings have also been a chance to meet people, learn about the project and raise funds (One work party was sponsored by Starbucks).






Pot Lucks
Spring 2006 - Ongoing

We have hosted pot lucks on the site. It has been a chance for people to see the site, eat some great food, listen to live music, and just have a great time.






Night Out
Summer, Annually

Night out is an annual event sponsored by the Department of Neighborhoods. These events are a chance for the whole block to meet each other and to strengthen local organization. The Hazel Heights P-Patch has been a great addition to other neighborhood groups such as block watch to celebrate this event.
