About Us

Fremont will soon have a new community and gathering space! Like many Seattle neighborhoods, Fremont is experiencing significant growth. This new patch of greenspace will help serve the increasing number of residents and workers in Fremont.

Owned by the P-Patch Trust (www.ppatchtrust.org), the property at NW 42nd street and Baker Avenue NW has a conservation easement to keep the land for community gardening and open space in perpetuity. Named after Hazel Hurlbert, the previous owner, Hazel Heights P-Patch has a legacy of gardening and is sure to be a beautiful new addition to the community.

On May 11th, 2009 we had our official Groundbreaking Event, kicking off construction for the P-Patch. It was a lovely event, check out the events page for pictures.

We still need help in terms of fundraising and overall support for the project. Please contact us for more information. Thanks to all that have made this possible.
